Match duration
Two teams that each of them consists of 11 players against to make goal. If a team makes more goal than the other team, that team wins (usually in 90 minutes, but there’s another way to decide the winner if the match ends draw; injury time). One round of injury time is same with 15 minutes. The most important rule: players don’t be allowed to touch the ball with hand except goalkeeper during the match.
Soccer formation
There are common formations that are usually used in the soccer match:
4-4-2
4-3-2-1
4-5-1
3-4-3
3-5-2
4-3-3
Players’ tactic can be changed during the match, depend on the condition during the match. There are three tactics: attack, defend, and balance.
Official
A match is controlled by a referee that has “full authority to control the match according to Match Rule” (Rule 4), and decisions that are made by referee are final. A referee is helped by two assistants (in the past they are called “line keeper”). In many match referee is also helped by the fourth official that can substitute other official if needed.
Team
A team consists of maximal 11 players, include goalkeeper. And there must be substitute players. Sometimes there’s a rule in futsal about minimum players that can be (usually eight).
A goalkeeper can take the ball with his hand inside penalty box. Goalkeeper must wear gloves.
The other players mustn’t be allowed to touch the ball with their hands, but it’s allowed with the other body part. The exception of this rule is applied when there’s a throw in (when the ball is kicked out of the court).
Many players can be substituted by substitute players during the match. The common reasons to substitute are player’s injury, tired, non effective, tactic’s change, or even waste little time when the match almost ends. In a standard match, the player that has been substituted can’t back to the match.
Standard court
The court that’s used is a grass rectangular court. The length is 91.4 meters and the width is 54.8 meters. And also there are two goalposts in the two width’s sides; the size is 24x8 feet, or 7.32x2.44 meters.
